The Ingrin Institute of Printing & Graphics Sri Lanka
Ltd., is committed to improve the quality and standards of
the printing & graphics industry, offering various study
programmes for personnel who are involved in the industry
& the new comers.
The objective is to help creating an awareness
of the printing, graphic arts and packaging industry in general,
School Leavers as a special target group, laying emphasis
on image building and on a more practical level especially
on job opportunity in the printing sector.
It intends to provide the professional ability
to those workers and executives in printing, graphic arts
and packaging industry and implementing training facilities
in order to update the knowledge and skills which would upgrade
quality and standards as well as increase production.
Ingrin has created a career development path,
and is planning to introduce new courses in the year 2003
including a Diploma in Computer Graphics and a Diploma in
Printing Management & Technology. The INGRIN Sri Lanka
is planning to link the Diploma programme with a university
in Sri Lanka.The same will eventually link to a Degree Programme
in the Netherlands in the years to come. Printing is no doubt
an employable profession which had employed thousands of people
in Sri Lanka & abroad, specially in the middle east countries.
The Ingrin is aware of the rapid changes and the latest trends
in the printing & graphics industry and is geared to meet
the demands of the international market while helping the
printing industry in Sri Lanka to adopt to European standards.
The courses at Ingrin are being conducted by the experts in
the field who have been trained in Netherlands annually along
with the development trends in the western world. The Netherlands
experts in Printing & Graphics industry also visit Ingrin
Sri Lanka annually to evaluate the courses, which makes Ingrin
institute unique among the printing & graphics teaching
schools in Sri Lanka.
Ingrin at present offers the
following programmes specially design for school leavers and
industry personnel in Sinhala & English languages.
